HTC Desire X with Ice Cream Sandwich Announced - TheTechN
After having kept a low profile at IFA 2012 this week, HTC finally announced this morning that it did, in fact, have one phone to reveal to us: the Desire X. Fitting perfectly into that “mid-range” smartphone category, the Desire X comes with a 4-inch 480 x 800 Super LCD display,
768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (which is expandable by up to 32GB via microSD) and ships Android
4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Powering the phone is a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor from Qualcomm.
Unfortunately the Desire X doesn’t come with a front facing camera, but it does come with a standard 5-megapixel back facing one, capable of capturing HDR images like the rest of HTC’s One series. Finally, just as you’d expect from a HTC smartphone, the Desire X also features Beats audio technology, and the company’s Sense 4.0 user interface.
HTC says the Desire X will be launching in selected markets across Europe and Asia starting next month.
