Apple Announces iPod Touch 5th Generation With A5 Processor
After a much needed update, Apple has finally added some pretty neat featured to their 5th gen iPod Touch, starting with upgrading the CPU to a dual-core A5 processor!
At 6.1mm thick and 88 grams in weight, the iPod Touch is not only lighter than the previous model but thinner too! The device has a slightly squared back and just like the iPhone 5 features a stretched 4 inch display.
Camera-wise, the iPod Touch now offers a 5-megapixel, 1080p iSight camera with the same Panorama feature as the iPhone 5 and flash! As for the front camera, it’s 720p — perfect for HD video recording and FaceTime.
On top of that it’s available in 5 colors and now even has Siri!
Apple will begin shipping its new iPod Nano, Shuffle and Touch with Apple’s new “EarPods” next month.
Interestingly Apple’s not getting rid of the 4th gen iPod Touch just yet, and will be selling it for $100 less!
