Samsung to Introduce 4.99-inch Full HD AMOLED Display with 441ppi at CES
Currently, the arguably “best” smartphone display can be found on Nokia’s Lumia 920. With a resolution of 1280 x 768 and 332ppi, it just beats Apple’s iPhone 5. However, it looks as if this all might soon change, with a recent report by Asiae claiming that Samsung is allegedly planning to introduce a 4.99-inch AMOLED display with a full HD resolution and a ppi of 441 — 100 pixels per inch more than on the iPhone 5. The report is far from confirmed though, but it makes sense. Samsung is obviously going to continue to build on its existing displays and 1080P screens are the logical next step. What do you think of the screen? Will it be a reality?
