As Eddy Cue just announced, iOS 6 will be available to us all next Wednesday — two days before the iPhone 5 release. Other than a few tweaks and a couple of extra features, iOS 6 isn’t really much of an improvement on iOS 5. Some new features include Siri support for the new iPad, a new improved Maps app, and the new Passbook app.  

  So just a few minutes ago we saw Apple’s Phil Schiller officially unveil the iPhone 5. At just 112g and 7.6mm, the iPhone 5 is Apple’s thinnest and lightest iPhone yet. As a lot of us predicted, the iPhone 5 features a larger 4″ display with a 1136 x 640 resolution, as well as 326 ppi — just like the 4 and 4S. On top of that there’s  a new, smaller dock.
