The big announcement today is the iPad Mini, a smaller version of Apple’s popular iPad. The tablet, designed directly to compete with Amazon’s Kindle products and Google Nexus 7, will feature a 1,024 x 768 screen resolution (the same screen resolution as the iPad 2).
This may come as no surprise to you, but just as the rumors predicted, Apple have finally revealed that it will be unveiling it’s next generation iPhone next Wednesday, September 12th.
There have been a ton of rumors and supposed “source leaks” regarding the iPad Mini. And up until now, few of them have had any sense behind them. Well, this time round, The Wall Street Journal says it has confirmed with its own sources that Apple is indeed working on a smaller version of the iPad that will offer a screen size under 8-inches.
So Apple’s new iMac with Retina Display is going to supposedly launch this coming Fall. At this stage in the game though, I wouldn’t get my hopes up too high yet. After all, the story was published by DigiTimes, which doesn’t exactly have a flawless record when it comes to predicting Apple’s product launches. So after rumors, suggestions and more rumors, Apple’s new MacBook Pro is finally here.
The next generation laptop has been given some major improvements, the most noticeable of which is the screen. — Just as predicted, the new MacBook Pros are sporting Retina Displays. With a whopping 2880 x 1800 pixels and 220ppi packed into a 15.4″, display; that’s the highest resolution on a laptop the world has ever seen.
So Apple’s Retina Display is no longer “king of the crop”. LG has just unveiled a new five-inch display which is said to give Retina Display a real run for its money. The new LCD screen is based on AH-IPS (Advanced High Performance In-Plane Switching) technology and has an impressive resolution of 1920×1080, so it’ll be pushing a 1080p resolution! It has a
With Retina Displays now in their iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and supposedly next generation Macbooks; wouldn’t it make sense for Apple to have the displays in their iMacs?
Well, according to an ABC News report, sources revealed just that. — The next iMac line of desktops will be getting a higher resolution display, a lot higher.
The New iPad, as you all know, is Apple’s latest flagship device. Having sold over 3 million units in its opening weekend, along with being complete with Retina Display, a 5MP camera, an A5X Processor and more, you could argue that it is the best tablet out there on the market. Don’t get me wrong, I love the New iPad much more than my iPad 2, however, it’s still far from perfect. There’s a lot of word out at the moment of all the “problems” so I am going to cover many of them and “tell it to you straight”.
